But wait, is that snow we see on the trails at Sunday River? Our hotel sits just below and although the rain has let up, it is still on the soggy side here in Maine.

The place was very nice, to say the least, it had a small gym, restaurant, café, pool and very nice rooms as well. After unloading the cars and checking in we took off to Judy and Duane’s for drinks and munchies before heading out to the Madison Inn for dinner. You see the lodging is separate from the restaurant so our dinner plans were unharmed by the fire. (Lookie here, we even had a P-car show up - good color choice Joe)

 

After checking in, we headed out and  arrived at Judy’s around 5:30 and met some of the new folks who came from multiple states; Maine, New Hampshire, and New York. We munched on Judy’s fixins (my personal favorite was the shrimp) and had a drink or two as we renewed old friendships and began new ones! Great job Judy, and that is truly one awesome garage!
