Thursday we made tracks, first to fill up then to the most outrageous 11 miles of twisty highway one will ever encounter.

You may not believe this, but some who know me know I hate to waste a beautiful piece of road following a Sunday driver. So on not one but three occasions I found I could pass on a hairpin. First was a rather large rust colored Van, #2 was a little econo-car, and for the pièce de résistance, a 1000cc cycle. (The secret is to look through the trees to check the oncoming 'often inclined' road for traffic coming around the corner.) In each case it was totally clear and a cinch to over-take each at the corner. Not that I'd recommend this for everyone, just for those who don't dilly.

Unfortunately there are no pics from Thursday night at the Marriott, Friday morning was the Car Club Annual meeting, and then on to the Zentrum.

Of all the BMW classics this 'special edition' last Z3 off the assembly line is by far my favorite.

Now who do we see in the Zentrum Gift Shop but Z3 Big Daddy and Ron "Coolbreeze" Weathers?
Now onto Friday's gathering at the Peace Center...
Homecoming Bound via the
again, perhaps?
